Minister of Education
and Science, Dimitri Shashkini personally congratulated Veteran teacher,
Gabriel Gabitashvili on the Day of Victory over Fascism – 9 May and presented
him with different gifts. The Minister congratulated on May 9 all Veteran
teachers and wished them a healthy life.
Gabriel Gabitashvili
fought in World War II and is the holder of many military awards. He worked as
the teacher for 65 years. Mr. Gabitashvili began working as a teacher of
primary school when he was 20 in village
of Velistsikhe of
Gurdgaani region. He taught biology in Women Secondary School №2 after the war. He was Deputy Principal and the teacher of biology at
Secondary School №53 in 1954-1995. He is the author of around 60 workings. Mr.
Gabitashvili was rewarded with Honor of Merited teacher and with Excellence
Award in different periods.
Gabriel Gabitashvili
has been on pension for 15 years. He reminds his working period at school with
pleasure. He is proud of his trainees. They are many successful and famous
people.
The Minister of
Education and Science thanked Mr. Gabitashvili for his long pedagogic activity
and his contribution to the country.
