A joint project of French-Georgian universities will be launched in Georgia

The Prime Minister of Georgia - Giorgi Kvirikashvili, together with the members of the Georgian Government, attended the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of cooperation signed between the French and Georgian universities. Mikheil Chkhenkeli – the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, and Jean-Yves Le Drian – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development of France signed the memorandum. 
The joint project of the French-Georgian University envisages institutional cooperation between the universities of France and Georgia, which, in turn, promotes the development of joint and exchange programs by French and Georgian universities.

According to the agreement, the French side will compensate the expenses related to the provision of qualified experts and French academic personnel preparatory missions, whereas Georgia will cover the compensation of the additional state grants for the students involved in the program.
