A presentation of Dr. Elguja Khintibidze’s English language monograph – “Medieval Georgian Romance “The Man in a Panther-Skin” and Shakespeare’s Late Plays “was held at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. The book was published by ADOLF M. HAKKERT – PUBLISHER in Amsterdam in 2018.

The monograph gives the reader the opportunity to see the contextual connection between Rustaveli’s “Man in a Panther-Skin” and the idea of European Renaissance. It brings a new perspective on the connection between the early XVII century English literature and Eastern writing.

Alexander Tevzadze – the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia and various representatives of Academia attended the presentation ceremony.
