Mikheil Batiashvili - the candidate for the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, spoke about the future plans of promotion and development of Georgian sport, during his speech, delivered to the Georgian Parliament.
The candidate, emphasized that Georgian sports will have significant support within the scope of the United Ministries format.
There will be a solid effort in continuing to build halls, sports palaces and international sports facilities, in compliance with the international standards, Sports tourism will be coordinated with the various government entities. A draft legislation; protecting the rights of athletes will be introduced into the Georgian Legislation, in conjunction with developing Georgian Para-sports. And most importantly, an immense effort will be put into winning the rights to host Winter Olympic Games in 2030 in Georgia.
