The British Council held a presentation of the - Creative Spark: Entrepreneurial Education Program at the hotel Courtyard Marriott, that was attended by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Mikheil Batiashvili.

According to Mikheil Batiashvili, the initiative of the British Council will enable Georgian educational institutions and organizations to share the British experience and encourage students to develop creative industries.

"If you look at global indicators, the market share of creative industries exceeds the financial benefits created by the industries such as: Automotive, Construction and so forth, in conjunction with employing more than 29 million people. I believe, Georgia has a great potential in this regard, and I am glad that the British Council will help young people understand and realize this potential”. The Minister stated.

The aim of the five-year project is to support higher education reform and the student employment. An open competition will be announced, where various creative institutions with legal status will be able to participate.
