Owing to the decision of the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Mikheil Batiashvili, a reform group will be created over the course of preparatory education reform, in which various stakeholders will be united.
In this regard, the very first meeting was organized with the director of British Council – Zaza Purtseladze and Project manager – Tamar Kvachadze. The British Council will be one of the main participants of the Education System reform group and will take an active part in discussions at all levels.
At the meeting, Mikheil Batiashvili emphasized that representatives of various government agencies, legislative bodies, international and non-governmental organizations, experts and other stakeholders will be involved in the work process.
The Minister noted that the preparatory process of the education reform has already begun and its contents will be known to the public in the coming future.
