Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini opened English Language Classroom in Tserovani Public School №3. Classroom was refurbished and equipped in the framework of English Language Learning Strengthening Program. From now on, the schoolchildren of Tserovani Public School №3 will study foreign languages using the modern informational technologies.

By the announcement of Dimitri Shashkini, English Language Learning Strengthening Program is initiated by the   President and is one of the top priorities of the Ministry of Education and Science. Foreign language classroom of Tserovani Public School was the first, that was refurbished in compliance with modern standards. It is important, new initiative was established in the school of Tserovani new settlement. Schoolchildren of Tserovani Public School will be the first who will receive opportunity of studying English language using the modern informational technologies. Other schools of Georgia will be renovated and equipped similarly.

Ministry’s new project Teach and Learn With Georgia envisages teaching English language intensively. The goal of this project is to improve English language teaching and encourage Georgian schoolchildren to master the foreign language by people-to-people interaction with foreigners as the best studying opportunity. In the framework of above mentioned project, recruiting 1000 volunteer foreigners who will arrive in Georgia is planned. They will teach English language as well as get actively involved in public activities in order to support school development.
