The Georgian national team has won their first victory at UEFA League of Nations. Georgian football team defeated National team of Kazakhstan with a score of 2: 0 in Astana. Giorgi Chakvetadze opened the score at the 69th minute and within 5 minutes Sergey Malim scored an own goal.
The second half of the match started with an advantage for our team. The first real moment was created by Giorgi Chakvetadze and Giorgi Navalovski. Navalovski was left face to face with the Kazakh goalkeeper. The Georgian forward assisted Vako Kazaishvili, but the shot was saved by Kazakh goalkeeper. Owing to a mistake by a Kazakh defender, he scored an own goal.
The Georgian national team maintained their advantage and eventually won 2-0. By this victory our team gained the first three points in the League of Nations. The match between Kazakhstan and Georgia was the historic and first match of the UEFA New League of Nations format.
Latvia hosted Andorra. The match, plated in Riga ended with a tie.
