Within the scope of volunteer development program -"Georgian Volunteer", the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia has organized a five-day training seminar, where the participants of said seminar have officially received the status of “Volunteer of Georgia”.
The program aims at strengthening the institute of volunteerism, developing the network across Georgia, increasing awareness of young people through volunteering and encouraging their work.

Since 2015, a total of 552 volunteers have already participated in the program, covering approximately 1435 programs across Georgia, whilst forming 170 volunteer clubs.
Volunteers involved in the program will take part in various types of events under the auspices of the Ministry, will be actively involved in the international volunteer service, and will receive small funding for volunteer projects from the Ministry. The best volunteers of the year will be revealed and subsequently awarded with special gifts and certificates.
