An Agreement of Cooperation was signed between a Canadian company and Teacher Professional Development Center at the Ministry of Education and Science in the framework of the project Teach and Learn With Georgia. “Footprints Recruiting Inc.” will recruit 500 volunteer English language teachers who will arrive to Georgia in September in order to strengthen English language teaching process in public schools. Project Teach and Learn With Georgia will be officially launched after signing this agreement.
The goal of the project Teach and Learn With Georgia is to improve English language teaching and encourage Georgian schoolchildren to master the foreign language by people-to-people interaction with foreigners as the best studying opportunity. Totally, 1000 volunteer teachers will arrive to Georgia in the framework of this project. They will get actively involved in public activities in order to support school development, as well as teach English language.
On the same day, Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini and President of “Footprints Recruiting Inc.” Ben Glickman held a working meeting.
