The students of the village Tortizi in Gori municipality started their new academic year in a newly built school. Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Irina Abuladze attended the opening of the new school and congratulated the students, their parents and teachers with the beginning of the new academic year.
A century-old school is designed for approximately 240 students and is also fully adapted to the students with special educational needs. The doctor's office is entirely equipped with the appropriate equipment. The construction of the school started on September 21, 2017 and ended on June 18, 2018. Up to 1 400 000 GEL was expended on the construction.
The arrangement of a modern school infrastructure is an important factor in increasing the quality of learning in Georgia. Consequently, a constant mode of construction, renovation and equipment of schools throughout Georgia is underway.
