The United States Peace Corps Georgia invites motivated public schools to cooperate within the scope of Peace Corps Education Program.

Peace Corps volunteers have successfully implemented various education projects in regions of Georgia for eighteen years. Schools selected in the competition will work towards developing the level of the English Language with the American teachers during the academic years of 2019-2021.

Schools located in the regions of: Kakheti (except villages located north of Akhmeta); Mtskheta-Mtianeti (except Stepantsminda), Kvemo Kartli, Shida Kartli, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Adjara, Guria, Imereti, Samegrelo, Racha-Lechkhumi and Svaneti will be able to participate in the competition. The villages and small towns located within 5 km from the administrative boarder will not be qualified for this competition.

If your school is in the above mentioned area, and the minimum hourly rate of the English language is 24 hours, and are interested in working within the volunteers program for the 2019-2021 academic year, please get acquainted with the information provided in the annex, fill in the volunteer request form together with the host family application and send it to the following address: Peace Corps office at Vazha Pshavela# 29a, Tbilisi, 0160 or send an e-mail to the following address: education@ge.peacecorps.gov

The volunteer request form and the overall information can be also obtained from the Peace Corps Office of Georgia or any Educational Resource Centers. The volunteer request forms can also be downloaded from the website of the Peace Corps website: www.peacecorps.gov
The deadline for submitting forms is October 22, 2018.
