On 26-28 September, 2018, the 8th annual
Advisory Forum of Council of Europe’s Cultural Routes was held in Gorlitz,
Germany. The forum was attended by the 32 members of the expanded Partial
Agreement, the council of Europe, the European Commission, UNESCO, ICOM and
other representatives of the international organization
Moreover, the aforementioned forum was attended bu the Georgian delegation,
headed by the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport – Levan
Kharatishvili. Within the scope of the forum, he moderated a round table,
discussing the development of synergies between the international programs of
Council of Europe on national and regional levesl. Additionally, he also
emphasized the achievements, made by the Ministry towards the development of
local and international cultural routes.
It should be noted that in 2021, Georgia will host the 11th annual
Advisory Forum of European Cultural Routes.
