528 Schoolchildren of Kheltubani Village will Study in School with Modern Capabilities

Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini paid a visit to newly refurbished Kheltubani Public School of Gori region.

The school was rehabilitated in the framework of five-year program, that was financed by USAID. Organization CHF International Georgia implemented construction workings. Project was supported by Education and Science Infrastructure Development Agency.

In order to renovate Kheltubani Public School, more than 280,000 Gel was spent on construction workings. Windows, roof and electricity were changed. School was equipped with modern heating system. Building was adapted so that the people with limited capabilities could study and work there. As a result, schoolchildren of Kheltubani school will have opportunity to study in advanced educational environment.

16 schools of Gori and Kareli regions, that were damaged in 2008 August conflict, were rehabilitated as well. Total cost of the project amounts to around 2,9mln$.
