Memorandum on Cooperation between the Governments of Georgia and the Republic of Moldova was signed by the First Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Mikheil Giorgadze and State Secretary of Youth and Sport of Moldova - Radu Rebeya.

Cooperation in sports between the two countries involves executing the existing legal issues, selection of young talents, retraining of sports personnel, professional and mass sports development. Parties agree to cooperate with sports medicine and science, sports infrastructure, management and anti doping, and will also develop sports for people with disabilities.

At the end of the meeting, Mikheil Giorgadze awarded a specially made memorable medal and postage mark to his Moldovian counterpart.
