On October 25-28 Tbilisi XXII International Scientific Congress: "Olympic sport and sport for all" was held under the auspices of the Georgian Physical Education and Sport State Teaching University. The Congress will open at Tbilisi Marriott at 10:00 on October 26.

Today, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports - Shalva Gogoladze hosted Oleg Mattsin, President of the International Federation of University Sports and President of International Association of Physical Education and Sport - Kairat Zakiryanov. At the meeting various issues related to the forthcoming congress were discussed. The guests expressed their willingness to support the development of university sport in Georgia and conduct various sports events.

XXII International Scientific Congress is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Georgian Physical Education and Sport State Teaching University. Honorary guests of Congress will be rectors, professors, and distinguished athletes from more than 20 countries around the world.
