Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia launches new programs for retraining

Young people living in the regions will be trained in modern technologies that will help them to increase their level of education and study the most demanded professions of 21st century.

The new programs will start from November 24. The program is being implemented in cooperation with the Innovation and Technology Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia within the scope of the subprogram - "Training in IT."

Mikheil Batiashvili – the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia spoke about the importance of the project at the presentation on the new program. As the Minister noted, the training courses for the youth are completely free of charge, which will be be simultaneously implemented at 10 municipality centers in Choporti, Baghdadi, Kharagauli, Zugdidi, Akhmeta, Tbilisi, Kaspi, Gori, Telavi and Rukhi.

The Minister said that the project aims to increase the level of education in the field of information technologies, as well as to promote the most demanded professions today. Consequently, after completing the training, participants will be able to work in different directions and perform various projects.

It should be emphasized that young people living in the regions will gain knowledge that will enable them to find out the principles of the functioning of the web site, build a static websites or modify the existing ones.

The registration of applicants will start from November 14. The course covers both theoretical material as well as the practical work.
