Mikheil Batiashvili – the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia visited Akaki Tsereteli State University of Kutaisi, got acquainted with current curriculum and met with students and professors. The Minister introduced the ongoing and planned innovations within the planned education and science reform.

The Ministry is actively working on the creation of a higher education model that will effectively link the requirements of the labor market to the new labor financing model which will directly benefit the economic situation of the country.

The meeting was held in the Q&A format, where the Minister had the opportunity to directly talk with the students and answer their questions.
