Mikheil Batiashvili, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia has started discussing a significant project with AC Milan, which implies the development of children's football in Georgia.
Alessandro Gianni and Elizabeth Spina, international project managers of AC Milan, visited the Ministry to talk about the joint project. The Milan side expresses its willingness to actively engage in the implementation of the project and offer their methodology to teach children and young people, through various formats, and share their reach experience. A number of public schools will be involved in the project, where the methodology will be introduced with the local specifications.
According to Mikheil Batiashvili, opening of the AC Milan Academy of Football in Georgia is a very important project. "Improvement of sports culture in youth, introduction of healthy lifestyle is our priority and for this purpose, the Ministry will carry out a number of important projects," stated Minister Batiashvili
