The students met with Georgian scientists working in CERN

Within the scope of the visit to the European Nuclear Research Organization (CERN, Switzerland) Georgian students and their teachers met with famous Georgian scientists working in CERN.

Scientists shared their experiences with students, talked about how they got into CERN, what they are currently doing and what year they put into one of the greatest experiments of modernity. According to them, CERN offers all the possibilities of Georgian scientists to improve their qualifications, to work with the leading scientists of the world and then share knowledge and experience with students and young specialists in Georgia.

After the visit to CERN, the students noted that the days spent in "CERN" were one of the key steps and experiences in their lives that would help them to choose their profession in the coming future. Visit to CERN is initiated by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, aimed at attracting younger generation to the fundamentals of research, engineering, IT technologies and mathematics.
