Awards ceremony of the best young scientists and scholars of the year was announced by LEPL - Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.

The prestigious award will be bestowed for the best achievements and contribution to science and technology, and the goal is to promote science amongst the youth, including attracting young scientists, and to encourage natural sciences amongst them.

Each category will receive a cash award and a certificate of honors. This year the contest was announced for the third time.
