The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, upon the consultation with the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs, decided to postpone the continuation of studies at schools due to the health and safety hazards.

Although, the flu virus at the natonal level does not indicate the epidemic, it is advisable that the winter holidays for the general educational institutions of the 2018-2019 academic year is extended to January 18, in order prevent the spread of the flu virus any further. During this period we will continue to observe the existing situation and will announce the future joint decision of the public based on the recommendations issued by the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs.
