"In 2019 Georgia will join EURAXESS by the initiative of the European Commission," Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia stated at the presentation at the Ministry.
EURAXESS-Georgia portal will be created to strengthen international scientific cooperation, which will be integrated with EURAXESS's Pan-European portal. More than 40 countries are now involved in the portal. Engaging in EURAXESS will enable Georgian researchers to access available internal scientific resources and increase the possibility of engaging in international scientific studies, as well as attracting foreign students to Georgia.
EURAXESS service delivery network will be established in Georgia to increase the availability of the platform and representatives of Georgian universities and research institutes will be trained to better use the platform.
