Mikheil Batiashvili, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, together with Irina Abuladze, Deputy Minister and Mariam Jash, Chairman of Education, Science and Culture Committee awarded winners of various contests, and were given memorable diplomas and valuable gifts.
VII-XII graders of public schools of Georgia participated in the "Blogging Contest", which took place within the framework of the campaign against violence against women. The jury made the selection of best three of the 216 works. First place holders Mariam Kavtaradze and Tamar Tsikhelashvili are 9th grade students of the Aspindza village of Iudmali public school. Second place was given to the 10th grade student of Rustavi Public School №17 Giorgi Natroshvili, and the third place winner is the student of the 1st Marneuli Public School # 1 was Khanum Mamedova.
As a result of the competition, the "jury's favorite" was revealed to be the work done by Ketevan Tsintsadze, the 11th grader of Tbilisi's first experimental public school. In the nomination "original idea" Paata Gelashvili came victoruous, the student of 7th grade of Akhaltsikhe municipality public school. Additionally, the title of Young Animators was given to Ana Gogolauri and Imeda Aptsiauri, students of Rustavi N7 Public School.
