Surguladze, Director of Georgia National Science Foundation, Mariam Gersamia,
Head of delegation of EU to Georgia, Per Eklund and the representatives of the
embassies of
11 joint scientific projects were evaluated and selected in order to finance them. 381 509US dollars is planned to be allocated for these projects.255 872 US dollars will be transferred from the Foundation in the project budget.
Andrew Hood, Executive Director of STCU was
awarded with the Honorary Doctor Title of
Georgia National Science Foundation and STCU signed an Announcement of Cooperation in 2006. This agreement established the direct cooperation between these two organizations in the framework of the Program of initiatives of Research and Development.
3 joint competitions of STCU and Georgia National Science Foundation were held in 2006-2008. STCU allocated around 1.5 mln US dollars for the projects of 26 winners.
