The President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili met with the graduates of Batumi Public Schools. 41 graduates of Batumi schools received Golden Medals and 74 - Silver Medals. The President of Georgia personally awarded 41 successful graduates with Golden Medals. 74 graduates were rewarded with Silver Medals on the same day. Golden and Silver Medals are the symbols of the success, achieved at school.

In order to express respect towards the graduates, concert and ceremonial walking was held in Batumi. Local artists participated in this concert. Event was concluded by musical group “Mgzavrebi”.

20 public and 16 private schools operate in Batumi. Around 2000 school children graduated from schools in 2010.
