Registration of applicants for vocational education begins

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia announces registration of applicants for vocational education from April 8 to April 19.

Georgian citizens with basic and secondary education have the opportunity to master the vocation in all regions of Georgia in the following fields: tourism, construction, engineering, agriculture, transport, information technology, finance, journalism, design and etc.

Agriculture, construction tourism and transport are eligible to choose vocational educational programs implemented by dual, i.e job based teaching approach.

The age limit is not set for vocational education.

The registration certificate is available in educational resource centers and vocational institutions throughout Georgia. The applicants will also have an opportunity to register online at: vet.emis.ge. You can register for several programs under one general field. 

Applicants will receive information on testing in the form of short text messages.

Individuals with special educational needs will be able to register on the basis of the abovementioned procedure but they will be able to use alternative professional testing. Dual programs are also available for people with disabilities.

Citizens of national minorities who are unable to obtain vocational education because of language barriers will be tested in Russian, Armenian or Azeri languages. After the enrollment they will have the opportunity to study the Georgian language.
