The press conference was held in the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia regarding the launch of the XIV International Festival "From Easter to Ascension".

The press conference included festival organizers, supporting organizations and foreign musicians, who will participate in the forthcoming Festival.

The Festival “From Easter to Ascencion” is completely dedicated towards the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia - Ilia II.

The festival will last from May 4 to June 6. Both foreign and Georgian performers will participate in the festival. In particular, there are several anticipated musicians who travelled to Georgia such as: the famous tenor Giuseppe Gipali, conductor Aithilo Tomaselo, famous Georgian soprano Jano Alibegashvili, world famous Georgian pianist - Alexander Korsantia, famous choral collectives, orchestras and many more.

The anniversary dates of famous Georgian composer Ioseb Kechakmadze and Alexander Shaverzashvili will be celebrated within the festival as well. Various programs also include exhibitions related to the Easter holiday, literary-musical evenings, and other micro performances that are organized throughout the festibal. Apart from Tbilisi, the festival will be continued in different cities of Georgia - Telavi, Kutaisi and Batumi.

The permanent partners of the festival are: Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Tbilisi City Hall, Ministry of Culture, Education, Sport of Adjara, Ardi Insurance, Italian Embassy in Georgia.
