On May 28, a special event was organized at the Georgian Art Palace, by the President of Georgia - Salome Zurabishvili and Director of Georgian Art Palace - Giorgi Kalandia to sign a memorandum of cooperation.

According to the said memorandum the Art Palace will be the first and only museum to be patronized by the President of Georgia
