A summary conference for the "Digital School - Georgia" Project

The two-day summarizing conference of the project "Digital School - Georgia" was held in Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. On the first day of the conference the representatives of various participating schools talked about what digital school represent in reality and how they implemented this idea from the initial stage. On the same day, the poster exhibition was held at the university's open space, where each unveiled their goals, digital vision, strategy, implemented activities and the results received throughout.

On the second day of the conference the winning schools were revealed. The winners were awarded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Georgian Educational and Scientific Networking Association "GRENA", IT Step Academy, MagtiCom and "Orient Logic", as well as NGO "Digistol" and Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

The project "Digital School - Georgia" is being implemented in 60 public schools of 7 regions of Georgia since February 2019. The project is implemented by Tallinn University with a financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia together with the close cooperation of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia.

Within the framework of the project "Digital School - Georgia", 120 school teams (720 participants) will be trained in 2019-2020 to develop and implement the school's digital strategy through participatory design, data-based solutions, modern digital learning practices and much more.
