The award ceremony of the VIII regional competition participants of the music schools of Georgia was held at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia in conjunction with performing the last concert.

Competition was held in Tbilisi, Telavi and Gori with the initiative of the Georgian Music Society (Manana Akhmeteli, the Chairperson of the Society) and with the support of the Ministry, a total of 143 students, from 31 musical schools participated from five different regions of Georgia. 18 best students were awarded with high quality diplomas and cash prizes.
