Mikheil Batiashvili, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia and Minister of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus - Sergey Kovalchuk signed a program of physical education and sports in Minsk, Belarus.
The program aims to jointly implement complex activities, improve the high quality sportsmen training system for international sporting events and efficient use of sports-recreational bases.
The implementation of the program also includes cooperation between sports organizations, sporting educational institutions and scientific-practical centers in the sport of two countries - for the preparation of teams for sports of the Olympic Games of the 2020 Summer Olympics and Beijing XXIV Winter Olympics.
Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Mikheil Batiashvili, Deputy Minister - Shalva Gogoladze and the Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Belarus - Valeri Kvaratskhelia visited the Olympic complex and got acquainted with the internal infrastructure before the official signing ceremony.
