Second European games - "Minsk
2019" was closed solemnly. The ceremony was hosted at "Dinamo
Stadium". The Olympic team of 50 countries ran through state flags to
22,000 spectators. Iakob Kajaia, a Greek-Roman-style wrestler, became the vice
champion at the European Championship.
Second European games were successful for
the Georgian Olympic team, Georgian contestants won 30 medals in total. With 6
gold, 10 silver and 14 bronze medals Georgia took the 7th place amongst the 50
competing countries! In 2023, the city Krakow, Poland will host the third
European games.
