On July 11, Jason Lee - the Director of Samsung Electronics signed a 3-year memorandum of cooperation at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport (in D. Uznadze N52. The Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Levan Kharatishvili attended the ceremonial event.

The Memorandum aims to implement Samsung Electronics’ corporate social responsibility on the territory of Georgia.

Within the scope of the memorandum - "Samsung" announces financial support of ensemble and will fully resume Erisioni's stage costumes that will tell us the traditions of various regions of Georgia and the long history. In addition, replica forms of "Erisioni" will also be renewed. Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation the Parties will participate in joint activities. By the end of 2019, a grand gala concert will be organized by "Samsung" and "Erisioni" in Georgia.

The state academic ensemble "Erisioni" of Georgian folk song and dance was created in 1885. For over 135 years, the ensemble has achieved a lot of success and has surprised many countries and towns around the world. In 2002, "Erisioni" was awarded with a a gold disc. Together with several music masterpieces of the world, NASA has sent “Chakrulo” to space in 1977 precisely performed by "Erisioni" members.
