An official meeting of the Director General of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia - Zviad Gabisonia and the President of the Steinbeise Foundation – Dr. Michael Auer was held at the Steinbass Foundation in Stuttgart, Germany.

The Director General of the Fund - Prof. Zviad Gabisonia introduced the activities, goals and priorities of the Rustaveli Foundation to the representatives of the Steinbeise Foundation. He also discussed in detail the basic principles of the ongoing science reform.

Professor Auer, President of the Steinbeise Foundation, expressed his desire to start cooperation with Georgia and named the Rustaveli Foundation as a partner institution. From next year, the Foundation will help Rustaveli Foundation develop policy for technology transfer of applied grant projects!

Steinbeise Foundation is one of Germany's largest private equity funds. For more than 30 years, the fund has been dedicated to delivering successful researches and technological advancements. The fund network brings together 1,100 transfer companies and offers a wide range of technology and management experience.

Professor Auer hopes for long-term cooperation. A detailed plan and format of cooperation will be developed between the funds by the end of this year.
