Badri Maisuradze has held the position of the Artistic Director of Tbilisi Zakaria Paliashvili Opera and Ballet Theater since November 2016. In 2019, under his leadership, the Verdi Festival was launched in Georgia.

Badri Maisuradze has been a consultant for the Busseto Verdi Theater, Puccini Festival, Korean National Opera, Hong Kong Opera, St. Petersburg's Mikhailovsky Theater, and has also directed the ART FESTIVAL (Prague and Umbria International Music).

Badri Maisuradze is a member of the jury of such prestigious international contests such as: The International Voices of Busseto Competition, Paris Vincenzo Bellini Competition, Galina Vishnevskaya Vocalist Competition, Melbourne International Vocalist Competition, Opera Musician Competition Jury. He is the Chair of the OPERA CROWN Jury of the Tbilisi International Vocalists Competition.

He has won numerous prestigious international competitions, including the Francisco Vinnias International Vocalist Competition (held in Spain) and the Jus Biorling International Competition (held in Sweden). Badri Maisuradze is a Knight of the International Order of Friendship.

Badri Maisuradze's international career began in 1993 at the Royal Opera House in Liège, and has since worked in leading theaters in the world, including La Scala Milan, Vienna Staatsoper, Berlin Deutsche Opera, Florence Teatro Comunale, Madrid Teatro Real, Naples Teatro di San Carlo, Naples Teatro Massimo, Barcelona's Gran Teatre del Liceu, Dresden's Semperopera, Paris National Opera, St. Petersburg's Maria Theater, Stockholm Royal Opéra, the Montpellier National Opera, Bolshoi Theater, Canadian Opera, Opera Australia, Lisbon Teatro Nacional de São Carlos, Malta Royal Opera House, the Israeli Opera, Toulon Opera House, New Zealand Opera, Cape Town Opera, and many others.

In 2004 Badri Maisuradze participated in the opening of Milan's La Scala opera season. Throughout his long and successful career, he has collaborated with renowned conductors, including Seiji Odzawa, Zubin Meta, Daniel Oren, Antonio Guadanio, Marcello Viot, Mauricio Barbachin, Peter Ferenci, Carlo Ritz, Arvo Volmer, Alexander Vedernikov, Mauricio Nacionalio, Mauricio, Mauricio Benin, Giorgio Morand, Nello Santi, Lawrence Foster, Jansug Kakhidze, Givi A. maiparashvili, Odyssey Dimitriadi and so on.

Badri Maisuradze received his education at the Shota Rustaveli State University of Theater and Cinema and Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatory. Later he continued his studies in Milan and Moscow.

He speaks Georgian, Italian, Russian and English.
