Deputy Minister Levan Kharatishvili briefed the head of the National Tourism Administration - Mariam Kvrivishvili on the principles and future plans of the Council of Europe Cultural Routes Program. It was decided to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions in order to further coordinate the related topics in a more coordinated and effective manner.

The Ministry has been a member of the Council of Europe's Cultural Routes Joint Partnership since 2016 and coordinates the program at the national level through the Department of Cultural Routes and the Interagency Council within the Ministry.
