The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Mikheil Batiashvili and the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia - Arayik Arutunyan discussed the issues of cooperation between the two countries and touched upon the ongoing reforms. During the meeting, the sides discussed the educational systems of the two countries and shared experiences in the fields of education, science and culture. Mikheil Batiashvili presented the results of the recent reforms in the field of general education to his colleague, in conjunction reviewing the changes to the teachers admission process, increase in salary and the retirement schemes. Mikheil Batiashvili also reviewed the achievements in the field of higher education, which will bring the Georgian education system closer to the European one.
