As part of the Oscars and Golden Globe campaigns, the World Festival of Asian Films was held in Hollywood, where Dimitri Tsintsadze was awarded the Best Director Award for his film - Shindisi.

The film festival mainly features films that are nominated for Oscars and Golden Globes.

The world premiere of the film took place a few weeks ago at the Warsaw International Film Festival, where Shindisi was also awarded the Grand Prix of the Festival.

Currently Shindisi, as Georgia's nominee for the best foreign film, is involved in  the campaigns for the Academy Awards and Golden Globes.
