Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia attended the Vocational Skills Development Program courses at Aisi College and talked with the students of 8^th and 9^th grade about the courses themselves and its future prospects.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia has launched the Vocational Skills Development Program since 2017 and to date more than 600 public schools, together with active private and public vocational education institutions are involved in the program. The program is implemented in all regions of Georgia and combines two areas: Vocational Skills Development (for 8-9th graders) and Professional Skills (10th-12th graders).

The Vocational Skills Development Program is the first large-scale precedent of collaboration between vocational and general education institutions that provides students with the opportunity to learn the vocation they desire, to test their strengths in a variety of ways, and to make a thoughtful and informed career decision.

During the visit of the Deputy Minister at College Aisi, practitioner nurses and stylists attended courses in the village of LEPL Gurjaani Municipality, who were primarily students of 8^th and 9^th grade. It is noteworthy that Aisi College has been involved in the program since 2017 and its students have the opportunity to take courses in various vocations.
