Lado Meskhishvili State Drama Theater of Kutaisi became an official member of the European Theatrical Convention on November 29 at the General Assembly of the European Theaters Convention in Amsterdam.

Meskhishvili Theater, after Marjanishvili Theater, is the second in Georgia to become a member of this union. The convention was founded in 1988 with the aim of popularizing modern drama and building strong links between them.

Membership of the Convention implies the unification of European theaters into families. Participate in various important projects, create co-products and implement various ideas. As one of the strongest links in Europe, it unites 40 theaters in 25 countries.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia congratulates the Theater Company of Meskhishvili on this achievement and wishes them future success!
