On January 15, public schools will resume their studies. According to the recommendation of the National Center for Disease Control, there is no reason to postpone studies any further due to influenza virus at this stage. Consequently, the public schools will resume the process tomorrow.
It should be noted that in order to prevent the spread of the virus, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia recommended that the educational institutions use the holiday period to disinfect the school buildings. And once the learning process has been restored, the classrooms and corridors should be systematically cleaned with appropriate solutions. Additionally, full involvement of school physicians in preventive measures must be ensured. The Ministry is to adhere to all recomenndations issued by the Wolrd Health Organization and the National Center for Disease Control of Georgia.
