Within the scope of the World Education Forum, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli met with the representatives of the corporation "Microsoft".
During the meeting, the sides discussed the possibility of increasing access to Microsoft products for higher education institutions in Georgia, the prospect of implementing "Minecraft Education Edition" in pilot schools, and the establishment of Microsoft computer labs from September.
Representatives of Microsoft's "Minecraft" department discussed the Minister's initiative, according to which the "Minecraft Education Edition" Microsoft educational program will be introduced in 150 pilot schools across Georgia from September, which will make the learning process more efficient and interesting.
The representatives of Microsoft expressed readiness to start active cooperation with the Georgian side in this regard.
