Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University held a presentation of small films created for the promotion of agrarian vocations at the College of Media and Television Arts.
Before the selection and shooting, the idea was preceded by a competition announced for college students and its alumni. The competition was held in cooperation with the College of Media and Television Arts, the Georgian Farmers' Association and the United Nations. This collaboration is the best examples of private-public partnerships and work-based learning.
As a result of the competition, four winning ideas were revealed in the following vocations - dairy and dairy processing, poultry, ornamental plant gardener - florist and baker. A group of college students and faculty members were involved in the preparation, shooting and editing of the screenplays for the films on the subject.
Within the framework of the event, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Tamar Kitiashvili, presented special certificates and cash prizes to three professional students of the college for their special achievements.
Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, College of Media and Television Arts, prepares applicants for such vocations in the labor market as - operator, video editor-graphic artist, TV presenter, and video editor. The college also manufactures and distributes multimedia products of various purposes, genres and formats to promote vocational education, media and TV art development.
