Due to Coronavirus-related preventive measures and due to the current suspension of the learning process, a decision has been made by the Interagency Coordination Council headed by the Prime Minister, that the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia strengthens the methods of distance learning.
Given the current situation, the Ministry is taking intensive steps to ensure that every element of the education system, especially the school students, do not fall behind the educational process. Consequently, the Ministry is reinforcing electronic and television means as effective methods of conducting the teaching and learning process.
Today, the Ministry of Education offers our public schools, one of the alternative communication platforms - Feedc Edu.
The above-mentioned platform is completely free of charge, and works perfectly on any smartphone, and does not require high-speed broadband connection. The platform enables sharing of documents, upload/download features and the ability to conduct group lessons. It is extremely user friendly for students, teachers and parents alike. Additionally, users can register on the platform with a mobile phone number.
Should the users have any questions, they will be assisted online through the Chat feature on the platform. Moreover, any user can access the video instructions available on the website. Furthermore, there is a Facebook support group – Feedc Edu already set up, where qualified technicians will help users register and guide through the platform. Any individual interested in receiving any technical assistance can email their questions to mailto:du@feedc.com or call the following number +995 555 458 417.
It should also be noted that the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia exemplifies the social responsibility shown by the company - "FID" during this time. Given the current situation in the country and worldwide, cooperation and solidarity between the state and the private sector is vitally important.
