The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, convened a meeting with Susan Acland-Hood, the Permanent Secretary of the Department of Education of Great Britain, at Lancaster Palace during the official gathering of the "World Education Forum" in London.

The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, along with the deputy Minister, Nodar Papukashvili, is on a working visit to London to participate in the World Education Forum.

During his working visit to Armenia, the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, visited the Mesrop Mashtots Research Institute of Ancient Manuscripts in Yerevan, known as Matenadaran. There, he familiarized himself with the institute's activities and toured the exhibition of Armenian manuscripts.

The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, currently on a working visit to Armenia, participated alongside Zhana Anderasyan, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia, in the opening ceremony of the Kartvelology Center at Yerevan State University.

According to the decision made by the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, starting from the 2024-2025 school year, funding for students enrolled in the Georgian language preparation educational program (1+4) with state educational grants has been doubled.

The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, along with the First Deputy, Aleksandre Tsuladze, and the newly appointed head of the Vocational Skills Agency, Irina Margishvili, conducted a working meeting with representatives from international and donor organizations associated with the agency. 

Under the leadership of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, a meeting was convened at the government administration to discuss important draft laws initiated by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth in the realm of higher education. 

The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, opened the 2024 international conference of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement. 

The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, along with US Ambassador Robin Dunnigan, held a meeting with members of the Business Leaders Council established within the USAID program "Employers for Vocational Education."
