The registration of those who wish to take the Unified National Examinations and the Common Master's Examination, as well as the competence exam designated for the teachers and the student grant competition, has now been completed.
Number of registered:
- Applicants - more than 39,300.
- Students - more than 3,600.
- Master's candidates - more than 12,600.
- Teachers and teacher applicants - more than 19,600.
Taking into account the situation created due to the pandemic and the interests of those wishing to take the exams, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia together with the National Center for Assessment and Examinations decided to extend the registration period.
At this stage, the change in the terms of the Unified National Examinations is not being considered. Exams are usually held in July and the exact dates are unveiled by June.
The Ministry and the National Center for Assessment and Examinations are actively working on a plan to conduct the examination process safely and are constantly consulting with representatives of the healthcare sector. As a result of these recommendations, the exact dates of the exams will be determined in the coming future.
The National Center for Assessment and Examinations is fully prepared for administrative procedures and will act in accordance with the epidemiology and recommendations of the World Health Organization.
All safety measures, including remote control, hygiene and disinfection, will be taken into account when organizing the examination process.
Furthermore, the main task of the National Center for Assessment and Examinations is, on the one hand, to protect the health and safety of the participants at the exams as much as possible, and on the other hand, to conduct the examination process flawlessly. Any additional information regarding the exams will be unveiled to the public immediately.
For the attention of the entrants: Registration for the Unified National Examinations is held in several stages this year as well. Candidates will be able to change (delete, add) the subject of the exam, choose the language of the exam or select the competition (creative tour) until 18:00, May 7, 2020. Additionally, individuals can change and add educational programs - from the day after the publication of the results.
The center still runs open days online to maximize the information dissemination for both entrants and teachers and those wishing to teach online.
Applicants have the unique opportunity to pose questions of interest from different subject groups on the center's Facebook page every Wednesday from 13:00 to 16:00. Also, teachers and those wishing to teach can do so every Thursday from 13:00 to 16:00.
Moreover, the center's hotline operates 24 hours a day.
