The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli together with the Advisor to the Prime Minister Sozar Subari and the Head of the LEPL Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Agency, Davit Partsvania visited the construction process of the public school in the village of Tsvirmi in Mestia Municipality.
Mikheil Chkhenkeli: "Today we inspected the construction process of the public school in the village of Tsvirmi in Upper Svaneti. This school is a clear example of how the high professionalism and tireless work of teachers reflects on the success of our students. From the beginning of the new academic year, the students of Upper Svaneti will have a brand-new building equipped with modern apparatus. Computer laboratories will also be located on the school premises, creating a favorable conditions for modern learning. It should be noted, that similar projects are underway across the country, as many schools are being built in Georgia, because taking care of our students is a top priority for the government”.
The public school in the village of Tsvirmi is designed for 60 students and its construction will be completed by the new academic year. The one-story school building, which meets modern standards of light construction, is adapted for students with special educational needs. Along with the study halls, the school will feature a computer classroom, laboratory, a library, recreational space, and a yard.
The construction works of the public school in the village of Tsvirmi is carried out with the funding of the LEPL Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Agency with a sum of GEL 1.404 640.
