Owing to the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, various engaging events will be held in Tbilisi and the regions of Georgia from July 15. In 2020, 112 winning projects were selected from 11 competitions announced by the Ministry within the framework of the "Culture Promotion Program", which will be implemented throughout the year.
Deputy Minister, Levan Kharatishvili spoke about the winning projects during a press conference. The aformentioned press conference was attended by representatives of the contest commission and the authors of the winning projects.
Numerous activities in the field of theater, music, fine arts, and cinema are planned to be implemented in Georgia. Cultural activities include staging new performances, publishing new books, albums, arranging music shows, holding festivals, promoting social and innovative projects, and many more.
The winning projects were announced in the following competitions: "Competition for access to cultural life for mountainous regions", "Art for Education - Small Grants Competition in Art Education", "Borderless Opportunities" - Participation of Individuals with Disabilities", "Art Without Dividing Lines", New Georgian Book”, “Promotion of Contemporary Fine Arts in Tbilisi and Regions”, “Promotion of creative activities of Theatres”, “Creative Industries”, etc.
Information on cultural events planned with the support of the Ministry will be gradually posted on the official websites of the Ministry.
