The Minister of Education and Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli hosted the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Georgia, Cristian Urse.
The Minister thanked the Council of Europe for several successful projects implemented in Georgia in the fields of education, science, culture, and sports.
Mikheil Chkhenkeli emphasized the importance of implementing Council of Europe’s program of cultural routes, which promotes the development of cultural tourism in Georgia. This program is important not only for foreigners, but also for strengthening domestic tourism.
For his part, Cristian Urse, noted that the Council of Europe will continue intensive cooperation with Georgia and all ongoing and planned joint projects will continue uninterrupted.
